| Physical Arrangements Finalized for October 4, 2008: |
 Oak Grove Picnic Area will host all the festivities on Muslim Family Day. Food vendors, Bazaar and prayer area will all be located in the private picnic area only accessible to Muslim families. A separate pavilion is reserved for sisters to congregate and offer prayers. Click here to check map online.

| Park Will Open Two Hours Early: |
 On Saturday October 4, Six Flags will open two hours early, just for Muslim families. Normal park hours are 1:00 pm, but Muslim families can enjoy all rides from 11:00 am. Come early and avoid long lines on the rides.

| Quality Halal Food will Be Available: |
 We have selected quality halal restaurants from the Washington DC-Metro area to serve you food in the Oak Grove Picnic area from 12:00 am to 8:00 pm. Lunch will be served from 12:00 am to 3:00 pm and dinner will be available from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Between lunch and dinner hours you can enjoy samosas and other snacks with soft drinks. Food will be available on a cash-only basis, so bring enough cash to fulfill your appetite. ATMs are also located throughout the park. Click here to check the map before heading to the park.

 ICNA has set up a new toll free hot line 1-866-DIAL-MFD (1-866-342-5633) where you can get information about local Muslim Family Days being held in New Jersey, Atlanta, Boston/New England, Washington DC/Baltimore, Los Angeles and Dallas. You can contact a local representative and ask any question – or find out where you can purchase tickets.

 (877)Why-Islam will setup a Dawah booth at the Main Street of the Six Flags Park from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm to answer the questions of our fellow Americans visiting the SixFlags on Muslim Family Day. Please visit WhyIslam booth at the Main Street near the bridge, encourage their volunteers, and if during a ride someone next to you asks you a tough question about Islam do not worry – WhyIslam volunteers will be there to help insha Allah. Contrary to common perception, Six Flags America has the largest collection of rides for younger kids in the Washington DC/Baltimore region. Their Looney Tunes area has over 10 rides for kids with ride height requirements from 36-54 inches. Plus, they have plenty of thrills for taller ones. Click here for a complete list of rides you can enjoy on Muslim Family Day. We encourage you to come early to take advantage of the two hour early opening of the park exclusive for Muslim families. |
